Daily in Ukraine unplug the light and separatists akhmetov want to export 655 MW

National Energy Company (NEC) “Ukrenergo” launched the December 23 auction for access to interstate power capacity Ukraine to export electricity from 1 to 31 January 2015.

Bandwidth towards Slovakia (35 kV transmission line “Uzhgorod-2 – Sobrance”) presented one lot 10 MW.

The capacity of the intersection of interstate electricity exports to “Burshtyn energy island” in the direction of Slovakia, Hungary and Romania totaling 645 MW divided into 26 lots (lots 25 to 25 MW and one lot – 20 MW).

Applications bidders in the auction should be submitted to the central office “Ukrenergo” not 16:00 on 22 December. The auction will be held at 15:00 23 December.

As reported last year on December 25 auction of 100 MW capacity “Burshtyn TPP Island – grid Slovakia, Hungary, Romania” bought LLC “DTEK Trading” for 17.394 million USD. The starting price of four lots of section increased by 25.6 times (16.714 million USD) due to active competition from PE “Enerhosvit plus” and JSC “Donbasenergo.”

Furthermore, LLC “DTEK Vostokenergo” acquired 500 MW “Moldovan section” for 139.05 thousand. UAH and 350 MW “Belarusian section” for 1 thousand. UAH.

In 2013, Ukraine exported 9.9 billion kWh of electricity in 2012 – 9.7 billion kilowatt-hours in 2011 – 6.4 billion kWh in 2010 – 4.2 billion kWh in 2009 – 4.1 billion kWh in 2008 – 7.9 billion kWh in 2007 – 9.2 billion kWh in 2006 – 10.4 billion kWh in 2005 – 8.4 billion kWh -h.

The main exporter of Ukrainian electricity in 2011-2014 is akhmetov company “DTEK Vostokenergo” and “DTEK Power Trade”.

From April 2012 to export electricity to all areas under government decisions are bought on the wholesale market countries at lower prices (wholesale market price, excluding subsidy certificates) than it buys most of the Ukrainian industrial consumers.
